Our Wedding

2026, the year we get married! 

It's happening! Nearly fourteen years together, and it's finally happening. We kept the legal side of things small and quiet. It was truly magical. But we always knew that wasn't going to be the whole story. There was always going to be a big celebration too for all of you who are really important to us! So here it is: Vicar Street, the 25th of July, from 6pm. This celebration means so much to us, because years ago, long before any of this, I actually worked here as an usher, and always joked about getting married in this venue someday! Expect a Céilí (don't worry, we'll get everyone up and teach you the steps), live music, a big emotional family and friends sing-song for those who want to (but absolutely no pressure), a live band, and a DJ to carry us through to the small hours. It's going to be a lovely night. You're one of the people we want in the room for it. Come as you are, sit where you like, eat some nice food, and just be ready for a huge night of music and dancing with the people we love most.

THE DETAILS The Ceremony — 4pmWe're keeping the ceremony itself small and a little bitsecret. It'll be somewhere in the Dublin 8 area, and we're revealing the venue the day before. We know that's a bit of a challenge for anyone who likes to plan ahead, but we promise it'll be worth it. The Wedding Party — From 6pmVenue: Vicar Street, 58–59 Thomas Street, The Liberties, Dublin 8 A traditional céilí (no experience needed, we&amp;#39;ll show you the steps) Live music and a big sing-song, all voices welcome, no pressure to perform DJ and dancing into the night. Dress code: come as you are! Comfortable shoes strongly recommended for the Céilí. Food: we'll be serving food from Saba, our favourite restaurant. Day 2 If you fancy staying on It's All-Ireland final day! If you're still around Dublin and fancy sticking about for a session and the match, come find us. No obligation at all, just an open invite if you're there. Venue details to follow closer to the date.

The Wedding Party is in in Vicar Street! Home of live music in Dublin - it is a cool venue where many famous artists have performed. We're hoping to create an amazing space in this venue.This is from the venue :Smart-Casual: Many patrons opt for smart-casual attire to match the venue's comfortable vibe.Footwear: Comfortable shoes are highly recommended if you end up standing for the chats or navigating the dancefloor (for the Ceilí!), and they are better suited for Dublin's streets.p.s. THINGS TO DO IN DUBLINIf you're coming from overseas and making a trip of it, here are a few of our favourites. Guinness StorehouseA proper Dublin essential, and non-negotiable if you're visiting from overseas. My brother Eoghan performs there at weekends with some of the best musicians in Ireland, in my totally unbiased opinion! Try to get tickets to catch live music while you're there, and you get a free pint with your ticket too. Win win. Kilmainham GaolA powerful, moving piece of Irish history, right around the corner from Vicar Street. Book ahead, tours sell out fast. Aoife and Cousins sang Grace from there. Art Galleries Andy's Picks : The National Gallery of Ireland and The Hugh Lane are both brilliant, and both free in. Live Traditional Music The Cobblestone, Smithfield. The Pipers Corner, Dublin 1. Donoghues on Baggot Street can be handy if you are staying close by. But worth heading northside for some good music. Comedy FestivalIveagh Gardens 23rd-26th JulyThe Iveagh Gardens is a garden smack bang in the middle of Dublin, but it’s hidden away behind the National Concert Hall, so it’s got that cool, “oh you’ve never been to the Iveagh Gardens?” thing going on. The entrance is just off Harcourt Street. It starts on the 23rd so if you're at a lose end it's a great shout for that weekend! Gigs that weekNot much on in Dublin that week! The Wolfe Tones is on at the 3arena on Friday 23rd - one of their last gigs we think. If ye fancy it! ;)
